RecommendedI went in for an oil change on my 2012 Chevy Silverado. I received a flyer in the mail with a coupon for a full synthetic oil change. I scheduled my appointment with Mike on the phone. When I arrived I was greeted with smiles. They got my truck in right away for the oil change. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. No one tried to upsell me on anything that I didn’t need. Good old-fashioned ,trustworthy, friendly service. I will continue to go to Newman’s for all my automotive needs!
My son’s car started having major problems on our way from Oklahoma to Texas. We had it towed the last 168 miles to Austin. We took It to Newman’s Automotive since they could get it in and had great reviews. They found a problem that our mechanic in Oklahoma has not been able to find for 4 YEARS! Fast service! Seth was very open and genuine in discussing my car problems and solutions. You don't feel like you're being hassled into buying anything you don't need. Very family friendly.
Seth and Mike were both very helpful. They answered all of my questions and concerns. Regarding COVID precautions, they had a no contact option and sanitized my vehicle when I picked it up.
Super friendly folks, and a nice clean facility. This was my first shop I've gone to in Austin and will be the one I will be returning to if I need any more work done! Thought I needed an oil pan change but it turns out everything was looking good down below. I love the honesty. Thanks guys!
The CHECK ENGINE light came on in my 1st Gen. Toyota Prius and Mike set up an appointment for the next morning (it was just the lamp, the car was drive-able.) Took it in and, less than a half hour later, drove out happy. Friendly, professional, local business.
I came in for an inspection 30 min before closing and before I could even pour a cup of coffee they were done with it. Charged me a fair price and I got on with my day. Very pleasant experience.
