EITHER INCOMPETENT OR LYING MECHANICS. PLEASE take your business elsewhere unless you want to be ripped off and have parts incorrectly replaced. They priced my friend's low-beam replacement at $800 and said it was going to take 2.5 hours to replace her lights. Very confidently stated she had "ultra-expensive" HID lights when in fact she did not. She was ultimately able to replace both for $35 and 15 minutes of her time. I went in for an oil change and a 50K mile inspection. Not only was the oil change expensive, but the recommended an expensive service that another more honest auto repair shop later told wasn't even necessary. I won't be back and wouldn't recommend them.
I took my car to Pellman’s because my car wouldn’t start. They could have told me anything and charged anything too but instead they were honest, kind and supportive. I will be back (but hopefully not too soon!)
Pellmans is great, from a simple oil change to more involved work you can count on them to be fast, fair and friendly.
When I arrived in the Colorado, I didn't know about downshifting and blew out my front brakes. I took my van to Pellmans. They charged me $2100 to fix my brakes and a few other minor repairs. I contacted other mechanics both here in Colorado and back home in Maryland and found out that they definitely overcharged me.
