I've been using Stapley Care Care (f/k/a Desert Car Care) since I moved to Chandler in the 1990's. They have always been fair, consistent, and honest in all aspects. They are friendly and helpful, and take the time to explain what's going on, what is needed now and what can wait. I highly recommend this team and business.
Went there to get a diagnosis for a squeak I was hearing when going around corners and braking and paid them $65 for an inspection. Unfortunately they weren't able to find the issue while the car was there and I had to diagnose and fix it this weekend . Jason called me back and apologized and made it right with a full refund. He was very polite and nice about it. This seems like it was an unfortunate miscommunication/overlook and I don't think it reflects poorly on what is otherwise a great mechanic.
We took our car to Stapley because check engine light came on. They got us in right away and found out that our battery wasn't registered. We have had previous oil changes with dealership so this shouldn't have been an issue. They called and re-registered our vehicle and got us all squared away. They took the time to figure out exactly what it was and didn't try to upsell or replace a battery that wasn't needed. Highly recommend and trust Stapley Car Care.
The customer service was great, but I paid $130 for a full inspection after smelling sulfur in my car and they missed my bad battery. I was worried it might’ve been a fuel system or exhaust issue but another possible issue is leaking battery acid. I went through the inspection checklist and everything was green except for the air filters and was told the hvac system was dirty. $380 later.
