Got quoted 6600$ for some suspension shake (just getting the quote was 140). Obviously I wasn’t going to do that so I took my car back to fix it myself. After finding the issue to be a 4 dollar bolt in my track bar (just a bit worn and was allowing slack in the suspension system). Traveling from AZ to Midwest, paid $1,600 for a/c work in AZ 6hrs into road trip car’s serpentine belt broke immediate exit off to Love’s in Albuquerque, NM… and the games began! Mobile mechanic quotes $125 per hr, 4hrs serpentine belt repair incomplete, absolutely not paying $500 for incomplete repair. Goodbye! Next day car towed needed first quote $375 to tow 17 miles second quote $245 for exact same mileage. Brown’s Service Repair came highly recommended and I am very disappointed and will call the referring company ... read more

This garage is not trustworthy since Jim Dearholt sold it to Browns Automotive Experts. They are not honest with their customers. Reminds me of going to Zip Lube many years ago were ever filter and the brakes and even the lightbulbs were defective and had to be changed immediately. Don't waste your time going to Browns!

They charge crazy prices. I was very angry when I saw my dad paid over $150 just for spark plugs, on a 4cyl which would have taken no more than 20 minutes to replace, and would have cost no more than $50 for the plugs themselves.
