I used A&R twice and in short, would recommend them for your automotive service & maintenance needs. 2018 F-150 3.5 EcoBoost with cam phaser rattle, misfire and timing codes (big job) & exhaust leak (resonator delete, small job) on my son’s 2004 Cadillac CTS. Mechanically restored my 2004 Dodge Dakota SLT from new headlights to engine repair.. winterization, wheel rotation, lug nut replacement and much more.. drives like new.
Abysmal diagnostic practices and excessive pricing. I was a line technician at a dealership for many years before I could no longer do the work physically, and even at a so-called “stealership,” I never saw pricing like this. They charge a $200 diagnostic fee per issue, yet state that repairs must be completed before the diagnosis can be finalized. That alone is unreasonable.
