Had a state inspection done at American Pride and am blown away by the ease and professionalism of the experience. In Northern VA we always had to wait in line at an inspection station, often for unknown periods of time. American Pride (and most other places around here, it seems) requires an appointment, which means we’ll need to book more in advance in the future! I will never go anywhere else for my state inspection after my experience this morning. They were so fast, delivering my car hours before the pick-up time, and I was provided with all the details, including pictures, tread depth, brake pad measurements etc. Now I know when I will need to invest in new tires! It's so refreshing to have an honest snapshot so you can plan ahead for vehicle maintenance instead of being upsold on every little thing like at other places.

I recently got my state inspection done at American Pride Automotive and they got me out of there within a reasonable time. The front desk girls were very kind. The tech that inspected my car was knowledgeable and kind. I called a few days after inspection with an issue with my gas cap and they told me to come right over. They helped me get it open right away with no charge. They are all so kind and helpful. I highly recommend!

Throughout I felt that this is a trustworthy place, from front desk communication to talking to some technicians. They make clear which repairs are really necessary for safe working conditions and which repairs are optional or recommended based on mileage. The technicians did a good job in diagnosing and repairing a worn out wheel bearing and in fixing a complex AC problem in my 2010 car. Been a customer over a year. I always receive excellent customer service. They are always able to get my vehicle scheduled in a timely manner. Does a full inspection with each oil change, making maintenance recommendations, never pressures me to perform things I don’t want done. After hours drop off and pick up is extremely convenient!! And someone was kind enough to help me after hours to make sure I wasn’t stranded without a vehicle for a holiday weekend. Thank you!! I HIGHLY recommend!
